The purpose of this visit is to provide education on proper oral hygiene, nutrition, and oral habits. Dr. Mermelstein will introduce the basic dental tools to your child in a fun, creative way that will help engage your child and alleviate possible anxiety. Our goal is to make your child feel comfortable with our team and the dental experience, while also evaluating dental health. Dr. Mermelstein will assess growth and development and offer recommendations that will help lead to a lifetime of beautiful smiles. You'll have the opportunity to ask as many questions as you like.

Dr. Mermelstein is experienced in dealing with children with anxiety and always explains treatment procedures in a pleasant, positive, and child-friendly manner. We pride ourselves in our behavior management skills and also have nitrous oxide available as an adjunct.
